At Ladypool Primary School we follow the Birmingham agreed syllabus which cover values or dispositions from all faiths in our city. Parents or carers have the right to withdraw their child from all or any of the R.E lessons but we will invite you for a conversation before this is done.
Collective worship happens as whole school, key stages or in class. Parents or carers have the right to withdraw their child from all or any part of the collective worship but we will invite you for a conversation before this is done.
The religions we will be learning about are: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Judaism, Buddhism. Please refer to our RE policy on the Policies page for further information.
We were very lucky to have a member of the Jewish community explain why Hanukkah is celebrated.
A representative of the Birmingham City Mission came to read us the story of "The generous giver".
A representative of the Blue Cross taught us how to behave around dogs.
