 To apply for a place at Ladypool, please request an application form from the school office.  If you have admissions inquiries including over-subscription criteria, the age groups we consider applications for or if you wish to visit the school please contact us directly on 0121 464 7002.  

From September 2019 you can apply online for a school place for September 2020 for a Reception Class. 

Reception online applications must be submitted by 15 January 2020.

Applying for a school place online:

  • ensures you will receive an email confirming your child’s offer by 3.30 pm on the offer date, one day ahead of postal notification;
  • is quick, easy and secure;
  • is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week until the final closing date; and
  • means you will receive an immediate confirmation by email that the application has been received.

The school doors open at 8.40am and each class has additional learning activities set up for the children. Teachers and teaching assistants will be available at the doors to greet your children in.


Please remember how important it is that your child is in school on time everyday.  If your child is absent it is your responsibility to contact the school.  If we do not have a valid reason for your child's absent then it will be marked as unauthorised.

Class attendance will be celebrated on the school website weekly so look out for your child's class.

 Dinner Money

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school lunch.

Children who normally pay for meals:

For children in Y3 – Y6 meals cost £2.35 per day which is £11.75 per week.  Dinner money must be paid on a Monday morning to the school office in a sealed envelope with the child’s name, class, and amount stated clearly.

Children can book Pizza Friday – This is £2.35 and should be paid at the latest by Tuesday to the school office in envelope.

We provide halal, vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices for your children to enjoy and have a 4 week menu, which alternates weekly. All meals are well-balanced and nutritious.
