Help In Brum

Birmingham City Council and partners are working to support and offer guidance to our residents during the cost of living crisis in the UK.
We want to support as many of our residents as possible across key areas which are outlined in this leaflet.

Free Swimming

Are you looking for a healthy sporting activity to do with friends or family? Or would you like to build on the foundation your children have laid down in school swimming lessons?

Are you looking for a healthy sporting activity to do with friends or family? Or would you like to build on the foundation your children have laid down in school swimming lessons? Then fill out this Leisure Card Application (see below) form which entitles your child to free swimming at any Birmingham City Council Wellbeing Centre. It does not entitle them to any free lessons, but it is a great way to get them introduced to the water. The Leisure Card is free to apply for.

Please take completed forms to a Wellbeing Centre, such as:

  • Small Heath Wellbeing Centre
  • Moseley Road Pools
  • Newtown Wellbeing Centre
  • Shard End Wellbeing Centre
  • Kingstanding Wellbeing Centre
  • Handsworth Wellbeing Centre.

You can then use the cards at any centre that has a contract with the council such as Sparkhill Pool and Leisure Centre.
